Georgetown Divide Supply was purchased by Jerry & Janice Hoyt September 1, 1999. They purchased it from Mark and Gayle Mishler of Garden Valley. Divide Supply originally started out as a lumber yard and was owned by Steve Sommers. Divide Supply operated mainly as a lumber yard and then became more of a full service hardware store after Jerry and Janice purchased it. They have since added the garden department and expanded the rental department and put in a concret plant.
Jerry's career started in automotive manufacturing. He also has a bacground in construction and is the most helpful hardware man. He loves to help his customer's problem solve their plumbing, electrical and building questions. This is truly his calling! Jerry is the President of the Georgetown Rotary Club and takes his job seriously. He has also coached his grandson's baseball teams for several years.
Janice sold real estate for twenty four years prior to purchasing Divide Supply. Janice also enjoys supporting community activities. She has volunteered at Creekside and Northside schools for several years. She is also an avid gardener and often brings in the extra bounty from her home garden to share with Divide Supply customers.
Family is very important to Jerry and Janice. They have two grown children, four grandchildren and two dogs, all of which keep them very busy in their spare time.
Together, Jerry & Janice are committed to the community on the Divide. They support the local schools and fund-raiser every chance they get. They appreciate the community support and believe in giving back. They pride themselves on the friendly service they offer their customers. They are proud of their store and proud to be a part of this great community. It is their desire that you enjoy Divide Supply as much as they do.
